Stakeholders Inviting Process: How to Onboard Stakeholders in Capboard


1. Inviting Stakeholders

The company can invite stakeholders using the following methods:

1.1. When adding the Incorporation transaction: Navigate to Ownership > Transactions and click on “Invite shareholders.”


1.2. From the left menu, go to Stakeholders and click the INVITE button.



2. Stakeholders Accept Invitation and Create a Profile

The invited stakeholder will receive an email from Capboard inviting them to join and access their information shared by the company.

To proceed, stakeholders need to:

  • Accept the invitation.
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  • Sign Up for free.
  • Create a profile after signing up.



3. Stakeholders Access Their Profile, Portfolio, Equity, Documents, and Any Pending Signature

Portfolio: Stakeholders can view their ownership and the value of their investments in companies registered on Capboard. 

By selecting a company in the search bar, stakeholders will access the following information related to the selected company:

My Information:

  • My Equity: View equity information and transactions related to their investments or positions in the company.
  • My Documents: Access any documents shared by the company.
  • Equity Incentive Plans: Review details of any equity incentive plans and related allocations.


By following these steps, stakeholders can efficiently manage and monitor their investments and positions within the company through Capboard.
