Riverwood Capital is a private equity firm based in Menlo Park, California that focuses on investing in high-growth technology and technology-enabled companies. The firm was founded in 2008 and is led by Co-founding Partner Chris Varelas. Riverwood Capital's Executive Advisors and Senior Advisors are a select group of board and C-level executives from impactful technology companies. The firm seeks to provide financial and intellectual capital to help companies scale, and has made a number of investments in the last three years.
