Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google and Microsoft
Capboard integrates seamlessly with Google SSO and Microsoft SSO, providing a secure and frictionless login experience for your team.
How Google SSO Works:
When users choose Google SSO to access Capboard, they are redirected to Google’s authentication system. After they log in using their Google Workspace or personal Google credentials, Google generates a secure token that grants access to Capboard — no additional Capboard-specific password is required. This leverages Google’s built-in security, including their advanced threat protection and account monitoring.
How Microsoft SSO Works:
Microsoft SSO operates similarly. Users log in via their Microsoft 365 or Azure Active Directory accounts, and Microsoft provides a secure authentication token to Capboard. This ensures that only users with valid Microsoft credentials can access your Capboard environment. It also supports Microsoft’s enterprise-level security features such as Conditional Access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
What Needs to Be Done:

For users: Simply click the Google or Microsoft SSO button on the Capboard login page and follow the familiar authentication flow.

For admins: Ensure that your organization is managing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts and that Capboard is approved as an integrated app if needed.
